Friendship cup: Five goals of Rasal brothers help Rovers to qualify for quarter-final

Rahul Rasal scored four goals and his brother Aditya added another as team beat Super XI 8-3

Among the eight goals scored by Rovers Academy against Super XI in the pre-quarter finals of the first edition of the hockey friendship cup invitational tournament, five goals were scored by the Rasal brothers.

Four goals were scored by Rahul Rasal and one goal from his brother Aditya Rasal has helped the team to qualify for quarters battle. Rahul scored four goals in 4th,14th, 40th and 48th minute while his brother Aditya added another at the 38th minute. Rovers Academy scored 8 goals while Super XI could manage to score only three goals which was not enough to chase the match.

Dynamic Sports Academy under the banner of Hockey Maharashtra flagged-off the tourney with twelve teams in a knockout format where four teams have qualified for quarterfinals by main draws and eight teams are playing in pre-quarters in which six teams played on Saturday at Major Dhyanchand Hockey Stadium in Pimpri.
