Man booked for driving wife to commit suicide in Pune
The two were married for the past eight years. The husband, who does menial jobs for a private company, has not yet been arrested.
A man was booked on Wednesday for driving his wife to commit suicide on Tuesday.

The man was identified as Pandharinath Kaluram Gengje, in his early 30s, while his deceased wife was identified as Manisha Pandharinath Gengje, 28. The two lived in Trimurti complex in Gajananmaharaj nagar of Dighi with their two daughters - a four-year-old and a six-year-old.
Manisha was found hanging by a piece of clothing from the ceiling of the kitchen at 8.50 am on Tuesday.
Her death was recorded as an accidental death, on Tuesday, before a case was registered against the man. The complaint in the matter was filed by the deceased woman's mother, Changunabai Madge, 52, a resident of Kiwale village in Mawal.
Pandharinath used to hit his wife under the influence of alcohol, according to the complaint. He suspected her character and used foul language.

A case under Sections 498 (a) (domestic voilence), 306 (abetment to suicide), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 504 (intentional insult with an intent of provoking breach of peace) of Indian Penal Code (IPC) Was registered against the man at Dighi police station. Police sub inspector PA Kadam is investigating the case.
