Khalsa was arrested in 2007 by Ludhiana police for his involvement in the 2007 Shingar Cinema bomb blast, which killed six people and injured 37.
He was earlier lodged in the maximum-security Nabha Jail, but was brought here on production warrant on Wednesday for questioning regarding his alleged role in a case recently registered against some youths for reviving terrorism in Punjab.
