Ahead of Punjab CM’s visit to martyr’s village, road repaired for a smooth ride

A helipad has already been made as the CM will land in the grounds outside the village school.

As Punjab chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh is all set to visit martyr Paramjit Singh’s village Vein Poin in Tarn Taran on Sunday, the district administration was all out to ensure a non-bumpy ride.

The road outside the house of the martyr saw patchwork on Saturday, and some portions of road were relaid too. A parking area was being prepared and even the electricity department staff were seen moving around to ensure smooth supply. Water was being sprinkled regularly to ensure dust did not hang in the air.

A helipad has already been made as the CM will land in the grounds outside the village school. Tables, chairs and carpets were being sent to the venue. Villagers pointed out that the road was being repaired only for the CM’s visit as not much was done earlier.
