Bathinda trader booked for kidnapping
A case of kidnapping has been registered against local trader Amarjit Singh Mehta, Jaswinder Singh Jugnu and others for attacking one Nasib Chand of Phul.

A case of kidnapping has been registered against local trader Amarjit Singh Mehta, Jaswinder Singh Jugnu and others for attacking one Nasib Chand of Phul.
They allegedly attacked Nasib at his rice mill at Bhai Rupa and then kidnapped him in a car.
The two parties reportedly had a dispute over money. No arrests have been made so far. Nasib was referred to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana.
He was allegedly thrown on to the road after he was beaten up by the kidnappers, who allegedly snatched Rs 10 lakh and a mobile phone from him.
