
BJP will cross target of 272 seats: Anurag Thakur
Speaking at the Sujanpur Rally, BJP MP Anurag Thakur on Sunday said that the BJP would cross the 272 seats target required for forming government at the Centre.
Expressing his confidence in Gujarat chief minister and BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Thakur said that Modi would like Atal Bihari Vajpayee help develop the hill state. He said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee had paved way for state's development by programmes like Sarv Shiksha Abhiyaan (SSA), Pradhan Mantri Sadak Yojana (PMSJ) and like him Modi would also help resolve the issues of the people of the state.
Slamming the ruling alliance, Thakur said that Congress is solely responsible for unemployment, risng crime against women, deteriorating economy of the country and inflation.
Indirectly pointing fingers at the newly formed Aam Aadmi Party, he said, " This country doesn't need an Act but action and no bill but a will power."
