Four-year-old girl calls for action against female foeticide

Dressed in traditional Marathi attire, four-year-old Dhanya Gupta had the audience transfixed when she took to the mike and appealed to stop female foeticide at an event organised by International Institute of Fashion Designing (INIFD), Hamirpur, in Mandi on Thursday.

Dressed in traditional Marathi attire, four-year-old Dhanya Gupta had the audience transfixed when she took to the mike and appealed to stop female foeticide at an event organised by International Institute of Fashion Designing (INIFD), Hamirpur, in Mandi on Thursday.

Dhanya also walked the ramp to spread awareness on “save the girl child”. The institute also organised painting, debate, fancy dress and ramp walk competitions to spread awareness on the matter. Later, INIFD students walked the ramp in their creations.
