Haryana announces 20% quota in promotion for Class 3, 4 SC employees
The Haryana government has decided to give 20% reservation in promotion with consequential seniority to scheduled caste (SC) category employees in Class 3 and 4 posts with effect from April 1, 2013.

The Haryana government has decided to give 20% reservation in promotion with consequential seniority to scheduled caste (SC) category employees in Class 3 and 4 posts with effect from April 1, 2013.
A notification to this effect was issued by the state government on Friday.
Of the total around 1.62 lakh Class 3 employees, there are about 19,000 SC category employees and of the total about 24,000 Class 4 employees, there are about 7,000 SC employees who would be benefited from the decision.
An official spokesman said that the decision to give them promotional benefits had been taken in view of the acceptance of the report of P Raghvendra Rao committee by the state council of ministers in its meeting held on January 30 this year.
