Bhukkal said this during her visit to Jhajjar on Sunday. The union ministry of human resource development would provide resources to colleges, universities and other higher level educational institutes on the pattern of Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan, she said.

She said that she would participate in all India conference of education ministers of all the states which would be organised at Bengaluru, regarding the preparations for launching of RUSA.

She said that union human resource development minister MM Pallam Raju would inaugurate the conference.
Lauding chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, she said that he had made efforts to promote higher education in the state. Apart from opening new colleges, new courses had been introduced and number of seats in the colleges had also been increased.

On the boycott of evaluation of answer-sheets by school teachers, she said: “Protesting teachers' every demand will be considered and discussed.”

Frequent meetings have been held to look into their demands, but some issues were still pending with the finance department, Bhukkal added.
