Launching the magazine on Tuesday, vice-chancellor Jaspal Singh said the magazine was "one of its kind", adding that such activities and projects were important for expanding the horizons of the students besides.

"They will also help to make the university's research projects and seminars available to people around the world," he added.

Head of department HPS Walia said such exercises would help teachers to impart training, and students to acquire industrial skills.
