Man held for theft of sand, Tractor trolley impounded
The police have arrested one person and seized the tractor trolley laden with sand mined illegally, while one of his accomplices managed to escape.

The police have arrested one person and seized the tractor trolley laden with sand mined illegally, while one of his accomplices managed to escape.
A police party at a check post near Bhai Rupa village stopped a tractor trolley, laden with sand, mined illegally, and arrested Lakhwinder Singh. Another person on the tractor Gurjant Singh managed to escape. The police have booked both under Section 379 of IPC for theft.
