The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has invited applications for six-month 'gardeners training course' to be held at Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), Bathinda and Gurdaspur. The course will be organised under the aegis of National Horticulture Mission.

Giving details, Parminder Kaur Ghuman, director, KVK Gurdaspur, said the youth of Punjab, in the age group of 16 to 35 years, with matriculation qualification would be eligible for this course. The interested candidates can obtain the application form from KVKs, she said, while informing that the last date for the receipt of the form was January 16, 2015.
"The interview at Gurdaspur and Bathinda will be held on January 22 and 28, respectively, at 9.30 am. The trainees will be awarded a scholarship of Rs 1,000," she added.
