Three members of a migrant labourer’s family allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison at their house in Jawahar Nagar locality here on Sunday night.
Anuranjan, his wife Pooja and son Prince, who hail from Bihar, had been admitted at the emergency ward of Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences here after they consumed poison.
The woman and son died at the medical college, while the condition of Anuranjan was stated to be critical.
Police wait to record Anuranjan’s statement for further details.
