The public is getting timely service and department officials have welcomed the opportunity to work in a free environment with their boss on hand to save them from the oft-repeated charges of favouritism etc. Since June 11, when the first sangat darshan was organised at Phagwara, six such programmes have been organised till Saturday. Nearly 600 mutations have been registered on the spot.
