Sarbat Khalsa to hold protest march in Faridkot on July 17
Sarbat Khalsa, a congregation of radical Sikhs, announced on Tuesday to hold a peaceful march on July 17 in Faridkot to protest against the alleged failure of police to arrest those involved in desecration of Sikh holy book Guru Granth Sahib last year.

Sarbat Khalsa met to chalk out plan for the protest march under the leadership of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) head Simranjit Singh Mann.
The congregation accused the SAD-BJP government of failure to protect the lives of common men, Mann said.
He also attacked the government for the recent incident of Quran sacrilege at Malerkotla.
