Two booked for raping minor in Sangrur
A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two youths at Sheron village of the Cheema police station of the district. As per the statement of the girl, she was alone at home on Saturday night when Kuldeep Singh (23) of Sheron village, along with his unidentified friend, came to her house and took her to the nearby fields where both the accused raped her.

After the incident, they threw here near the tubewell on the outskirts of the village. Talking to Hindustan Times, Cheema police station incharge Baljinder Singh Pannu said that on the complaint of the girl, who lives with her grandparents as her mother had remarried after the death of her father, police have booked Kuldeep and his friend under Section 376 of the IPC.
However, police have failed to arrest the accused who are absconding.
