Youth booked for sexually harassing girl by creating her fake FB account
Nakodar city police have booked a youth on charges of sexually harassing a girl by creating her fake Facebook account and posting objectionable materials. Station house officer (SHO) Subash Arora said that the accused has been identified as Sagar Verma of Mehatpur.

Nakodar city police have booked a youth on charges of sexually harassing a girl by creating her fake Facebook account and posting objectionable materials. Station house officer (SHO) Subash Arora said that the accused has been identified as Sagar Verma of Mehatpur.
Lovepreet Kaur, a resident of Bhagat Singh Nagar, complained to the police that the accused created a fake account with her photograph and posted objectionable materials on it.
The police said a case has been registered under section 354A (punishment for sexual harassment) of the IPC and section 66A (punishment for sending offensive message through communication service) and provisions of the IT Act and raids are being conducted to nab the accused.
