The highly anticipated appearance of Hollywood Arnold Schwarzenegger in Shankar’s Enthiran 2 opposite Rajinikanth may not happen. While there are a number of issues, the main one is the actor’s high remuneration at Rs 120 crore.
Hollywood biggie Arnold Schwarzenegger, who had been approached by the makers of Rajinikanth-starrer Enthiran 2 to play the villain in the film, may not be doing the role, a source has said. The deal, apparently, did not work out over remuneration.

“The team has finally decided to rope in a Bollywood actor to play the baddie. The deal with Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t work out for various reasons. Hence, the makers decided to move on as the project was getting delayed,” said a source from the film’s unit.
A sequel to Tamil blockbuster Enthiran, the film also stars Amy Jackson, who will reportedly be playing a robot. To be directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca Productions, the project is set to go on floors later this month or early next year.
Oscar winning composer AR Rahman has been roped in to create music for the film.
