Billa 2018: Venkat Prabhu, Simbu might give Billa a reboot

Tamil actioner Billa is likely to get a reboot. Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu and Simbu might work together on the film.

Fans of Tamil actioner Billa can rejoice. Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu and actor Simbu might join hands for a reboot of the Tamil hit. The film was earlier twice made with superstar Rajinikanth and Ajith Kumar. Billa was the Tamil remake of Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Don.

During a periscope session with his fans on Sunday, Simbu revealed that he plans to work on a script along the lines of Billa. Later, during a Twitter conversation with director Venkat Prabhu, he said he can’t wait to work on Billa 2018. Following their chat, fans went gaga over the announcement and even trended the Billa 2018 hashtag.
