In less than 24 hours, Rajinikanth’s ambitious new film Kaala directed by Pa Ranjith will hit the big screen. For his fans, the release of Rajinikanth film is nothing short of a mega festival. Much happens in the run-up to a Rajinikanth film release.
Cinema halls across South Indian states are in different states of preparedness for Kaala frenzy to kick in.
An IT company in Kerala has declared a holiday for its employees. Telious Technology issued a letter to its employees on June 4, which read: “We are happy to announce a glad news to all of you. As a token of great honor to super star Rajinikanth and as per everyone’s request, our company is granting a holiday on June 7th. this is for your convenience to watch Kaala on release date itself.”
However, this is not the first time that companies have declared a holiday at the release of a Rajinikanth film. In 2016 too, just before the release of Rajinikanth’s Kabali, two companies—one in Bengaluru and another in Chennai—declared holidays. These were Bangalore-based Opus Waterproofing and Chennai-based Fyndus India Pvt Ltd.
Not just that, the craze for Rajinikanth film being what it is in Japan, young Japanese fans have reached Chennai to watch and enjoy a Rajinikanth film in its complete glory. Fans Yasuda and Satsuki have travelled all the way from Japan to Chennai to enjoy Kaala.
