Mani Ratnam’s upcoming project is going to be a spectacular showcase of talents. Jyothika and Silambarasan had recently confirmed that they will be a part of this project. Now, Madras Talkies Production No 19’s final cast has been announced and it is impressive. Other than Jo and Simbu, the film will star Fahadh Faasil, Aishwarya Rajesh, Arvind Swami and Vijay Sethupathi. From the looks of it, Mani Ratnam is going to be working on one of his biggest projects in terms of a star cast.
The fact that these particular actors have been cast together is a coup of sorts. To top it off, the technical crew has left us waiting for the film with bated breath.
The Madras Talkies production venture will be directed by Mani Ratnam, the music - as expected - will be scored by none other than Mozart of Madras, AR Rahman. The man behind the camera will be Santosh Sivan, who has previously worked with Mani on Vikram and Aishwarya Rai-starrer Ravanan. Sreekar Prasad will be doing the editing on this project. To mark the beginning of the Mani Ratnam project, posters of each cast member was released on social media.
The shooting for the film is expected to begin from January 2018. In the meanwhile, the cast members will be wrapping up their current projects. Jyothika is currently working on Bala’s Nachiyar, Simbu will be working next on his film, on which he will be working with Santhosh Sivan and Vijay Sethupathi is wrapping up multiple projects.
