Naragasooran trailer: This Karthick Naren film is about myths and secrets

Naragasooran is directed by Karthick Naren and stars Arvind Swami, Shriya Saran, Aathmika, Sudeep Kishan and Indrajith Sukumaran in lead roles.

Naragasooran is director Karthick Naren’s second film after his successful debut, Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru. The film is a thriller and the trailer, which was unveiled on Wednesday, is intriguing enough to keep you hooked. Starring Arvind Swami, Shreya Saran, Sudeep Kishan, Aathmika and Indrajith Sukumaran, this movie is about how all characters are connected by one myth -- that of Naragasooran.

Naragasooran is directed by Karthick Naren and will hit the screens on August 31.

Without giving too much away, the trailer also captures the conflict between Arvind and Shreya’s characters. Sundeep and Aathmika too seem to be going through a rough phase and it is at this time that they face something unexpected in their life. They are confused about what they should do next and why certain things are happening in their life, but we are not shown what is worrying them.

Indrajith is the man who uncovers the mysteries and secrets of these characters to find the truth. But first, he needs to lift the smokescreen.

 

Initially, the film was supposed to be produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon who was impressed with Karthick’s debut film. However, similar to Dhruva Natchathiram and Ennai Noki Payu Thotta, Naragasooran’s release was stalled and the director revealed that it was because he had trusted in the wrong person.

Gautham Menon did find another producer for the film, Badri Kasturi, but allegations were made by the director that Gautham used money that came in for Naragasooran to fund his own projects.
