On the eve of Victory Venkatesh’s birthday came the announcement about the actor’s upcoming film. Makers Haarika and Hassine Creations announced on Twitter that their sixth production -- to be directed by Trivikram Srinivas -- will star Venkatesh. They wrote, “We are glad to announce our next film “Production No 6” under the direction of #TrivikramSrinivas garu. #HBDVenkatesh.” Actor Venkatesh will turn 57 on December 13.
Venkatesh was last seen in Sudha Kongara Prasad directorial, Guru, which was a remake of the hit film Irudhi Suttru starring Madhavan. Ritika Singh reprised her role in the Telugu version. Venkatesh has also signed two untitled films. The Teja directorial was launched on December 4 in Ramanaidu studios, Hyderabad. This project will be co-produced by Suresh Productions and AK Entertainments.
The other film is expected to be directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. Initially, reports suggested that Arjun Reddy fame Vijay Devarakonda will be acting alongside Venkatesh, however, buzz in the industry is that Naga Chaitanya will be playing the role of Venkatesh’s nephew in the film. Official confirmation on the same is, however, awaited.
Meanwhile, director Trivikram Srinivas is busy preparing for the release of his upcoming film Agnyaathavaasi starring Pawan Kalyan, Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emanuel in lead roles. The trailer of Agnyaathavaasi will release on December 16, and the second song from the album was released on Tuesday.
