Dulquer Salmaan, the heartthrob of Malayalam cinema, is eagerly looking forward to his debut Bollywood release Karwaan, in which he has shared screen space with Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar. With the film slated for release worldwide on August 11, Dulquer recently signed his second Hindi film. He will be soon seen in director Abhishek Sharma’s The Zoya Factor, which is based on a novel of the same name penned by Anuja Chauhan. Dulquer is paired with Sonam Kapoor in the film and she’s all praise for him.
On working with Dulquer, Sonam told Deccan Chronicle: “Dulquer is really cute and such a good actor. I have seen his film OK Kanmani and he was fabulous in that. I really liked him in that movie and I have a history of working with south Indian actors. Dhanush was launched with Raanjhanaa, so I think I work well with them. I haven’t started prepping with Dulquer. It’s starting in August so I am looking forward to working with him. We will start in August or September.”
In the film, Dulquer will be seen playing the captain of Indian cricket team. He will soon undergo cricket coaching classes to get under the skin of his character. Sonam will be playing the titular character of Zoya Singh Solanki, around whom the whole story revolves. The film is gearing up for release next year in April.
