Suriya to announce his next film with Jyothika in May

After the success of 36 Vayadhinile in 2015, Jyothika’s next film, to be produced by husband and actor Suriya, will be announced in May.

Actor Suriya says he will make a formal announcement about his new film featuring wife Jyothika in May. The actor made a praise-worthy comeback in 2015 with 36 Vayadhinile after a hiatus of six years. Suriya’s new film 24 releases today.

36 Vayadhinile, produced by Tamil actor Suriya, was Jyothika's comeback film in 2015 and turned out to be a hit.

“We’re on the verge of locking a script for Jo (Jyothika). The official announcement will be made towards the end of May,” said Suriya, who will bankroll the project under his home banner 2D Entertainment.

Will he star alongside his wife with whom he had worked in five Tamil films including Poovellam Kettupar, Kaakha Kaakha among others? “You might not know. We haven’t quite decided yet. As a producer, I’m kicked about the project,” he said.
