Telugu TV anchor Nirosha commits suicide

TV anchor Nirosha hung herself at her PG hostel in Hyderabad on Wednesday. She was 23.

Nirosha, a young Telugu TV anchor, committed suicide by hanging herself on Wednesday in Hyderabad. The 23-year-old anchor worked for Gemini Music channel. According to the police, Nirosha made a call before she hanged herself from the ceiling at a paying guest hostel in the city.

“We don’t know the exact reason yet. She made a call before ending her life and we are trying to find out whose number it is,” police said. Police have registered a case under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Nirosha’s boyfriend Ritwik is based out of Canada, while her parents stay in Chittoor.
