BENONI: Temba Bavuma made a century on his ODI debut as South Africa beat Ireland to win by 206 runs in their one-off game on Sunday. Warming up for a five-match series against Australia, South Africa racked up 354-5 and bowled out the Irish for 148. Normally a middle-order batsman, Bavuma opened in his first ODI to score 113, sharing a 159-run stand with Quinton de Kock (82). Ireland play Australia on Tuesday. Brief scores: SA 354-5 in 50 overs (Bavuma 113, de Kock 82; Craig Young 3-81) beat Ireland 148 all out in 30.5 overs (K O’Brien 41; JP Duminy 4-16) by 206 runs.
