Li Na, Lleyton Hewitt to play in Hopman Cup

Reigning French Open champion Li Na and dual Grand Slam champion Lleyton Hewitt will play in the Hopman Cup in Perth in December, organisers said today.

Reigning French Open champion Li Na and dual Grand Slam champion Lleyton Hewitt will play in the Hopman Cup in Perth in December, organisers said on Thursday.

Li, who also reached this year's Australian Open final, will form the Chinese team with Wu Di, the 19-year-old who claimed a five-set singles victory against Australia at this year's Davis Cup second round.

Hewitt will be partnered by Jarmila Gajdosova in the Australian team for the mixed teams event.

Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova has previously been confirmed as a starter in the December 31-January 7 Hopman Cup along with Czech compatriot Tomas Berdych.
