Indian shooter Sift Kaur Samra wins gold, Ashi Chouksey gets bronze in Women's 50m Rifle 3 Position individual event. What an extraordinary day of shooting. Ashi was in silver position but a disastrous last shot in standing position (8.9) mean she slipped to the third spot to bag bronze but Sift Kaur Samra made no such mistakes. She clinched the gold medal with a 10.2 shot.

Sift has also broken the WORLD RECORD, ASIAN RECORD and ASIAN GAMES RECORD!

India finish fourth in the skeet-50 team women's event. The contingent consisting of Darshna (8), Parinaaz (113) and Ganemat (109) also fail to finish within top-six and don't qualify for the final!

India's Sudipta Hajela has been eliminated in the first intermediate round of individual dressage. The other three Indias are yet to start and top-two from each country will qualify for the final round.

Manu Bhaker was in hot form as India clinch gold in the women's 25m pistol team event, with 1759 points, ahead of second-placed China (1756).

Meanwhile Bhaker topped women's 25m pistol qualification with 590-28x points. Esha came in fifth place with 586-17x points and Rhythm was seventh with 583-23x points.

A firing start by India's men's and women's teams in their respective team events. Anahat Singh and Joshna Chinappa have both won their matches to take an unassailable 2-0 lead against Nepal in the women's team pool match.

In the men's, Abhay Singh has won India's first match against Kuwait and they lead 1-0.

India's Ronaldo Singh loses to Japan's Shinji Nakano in Round of 16 knockouts.

Sift and Xia of China have broken Asian Games and Asian record in 50m 3P. The Chinese finished on top due to more inner-10s. Their score was same. Can add this as an update.

Maana Patel doesn't qualify for the women's 100m backstroke final, finishing 13th in the heats, with a timing of 1:03:55.

In the 50m rifle 3 positions women's team event, India clinch silver medal with 1754 points, behind China (1773). The Indian team consisted of Ashi Chouksey, Manini Kaushik and Sift Kaur Samra.

Meanwhile, Sift finished in second position in the women's 50m rifle 3 positions qualifiers, with a total of 594-28x points. Chouksey has also qualified with a total of 590-27x points.

Venkatesh fails to qualify for the women's 100m butterfly heats. She finishes 14th in the heats, with a timing of 1:03:89.
