India’s Somdev Devvarman has crashed out of the men's singles of Stockholm Open tennis going down fighting in straight sets in the opening round on Monday.
The 84th-ranked Somdev went down 6-7(4), 4-6 to wild card Tommy Haas of Germany. Veteran Haas is a two-time semi-finalist.
Kremlin cup
Moscow: Gilles Muller of Luxembourg rode to a 7-6 (5), 6-4 victory over Russian qualifier Konstantin Kravchukin in the first round of the Kremlin Cup.
