The year-in-review article published on December 30 hailed ‘badminton and tennis player Sania Mirza’ as ‘an example of Indian women athletes excelling on international stage’.

The news website later issued a correction saying “The athletes Sania Mirza and Saina Nehwal were misidentified in an earlier version of this article”.
But, before they could retract, a Reddit user MalayDesai managed to collect a screen grab of the gaffe and posted it on the social media website.
