Esha Gupta was born in New Delhi. She did her Mass Communication from School of Communication, Manipal University. She was crowned as the winner of the Miss India International title in 2007. She made her Bollywood debut with Jannat 2 opposite Emraan Hashmi. She has starred in many commercially successful movies like Rustom, Raaz 3D and Baadshaho. Her film, Chakravyuh was invited to premiere at London Film Fest. She has been part of various initiatives for protecting the forest like Beach Cleanup Drives and Walk for saving the Mangroves.
