Delhi Congress MCD candidate's father, who allegedly abused cop, arrested

The incident happened when Asif Mohammad Khan, a former Congress MLA, was addressing a gathering near a mosque in Shaheen Bagh along with supporters. A Delhi Police constable asked Asif if he has prior permission for the gathering from the Election Commission.

29 senior BJP leaders tasked with shortlisting Delhi MCD poll candidates

The filing for nomination will start from today, but BJP leaders said the state unit will send the list to central leadership in 2-3 days' time.

Lahori Gate building collapse: Structure was 40-50 years old, says MCD

The building collapsed on Sunday evening, killing a four-year-old girl. Two more bodies were pulled out from the debris, taking the toll in the incident to three, police said on Monday.

With rise in dengue cases in Delhi, MCD earmarks 250 hot spots

The national capital registered 412 cases of dengue in the last week of September, taking the tally of the mosquito-borne illness to 937 in 2022, the vector borne disease report released by MCD on October 3 showed. No death due to dengue took place this year.
