PMPML needs 6,000 more buses, 16 new depots to meet growing commuter demand

Amid growing losses, Pune civic body demands that PMPML hike bus fares

The losses of the PMPML have increased and the PMC will have to bear 60% of the financial burden. Therefore, we will have to decide on the bus fare hike. The issue will be raised in the PMPML board meeting, said Prithviraj B P, additional commissioner

Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) will set up seven private charging stations in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad areas for electric vehicles. The stations will be set up by Adani Group and PMPML will receive 32.5% of the profit.
