Ajit Ranade moves HC challenging termination as GIPE vice-chancellor

Ranade, who was removed from the V-C post on September 14, filed a petition on Wednesday for an urgent hearing. The matter is slated to be heard on September 22

Autonomous colleges to only get academic autonomy: deputy director DPI

Violating UGC rule, 14 Ludhiana colleges running sans full-time heads

14 district colleges affiliated with Panjab University have officiating principals and less than 75% regularized teaching staff, leading to skepticism about implementing NEP. UGC guidelines not being followed. Regular principals and infrastructure needed for NEP implementation. 612 regular teachers to be recruited.
