Goa’s monsoon season runs from June and August. But the rainfall in Goa starts in late May and goes on till September. Goa is on the Konkan coast, so the rain is heavy. Thunderstorms are not uncommon either. So, it is worth paying the higher prices and sticking to the dry season — there’s not much to do on rainy days except drink, chill near a water body, or cut off from the world at a beach property.
