London has been voted the most impressive city in the world, followed by New York, according to a new survey.
Hong Kong, Paris and Singapore came third, fourth and fifth respectively in the survey, called The Wealth Report, which focussed on 10 global cities deemed the most impressive by mega-rich individuals, the 'Daily Mail' reported.
And hot on the heels of the top five are Miami, Geneva, Shanghai, Beijing and German capital Berlin, it found.
Though London came top in nearly every category of the survey, only respondents in Latin America disagreed, putting the British capital in third place after New York and Miami.
Economic activity, quality of life, political power, knowledge and influence were all factors in assessing what made a city important, according to the survey carried out by Knight Frank Research and Citi Private Bank.
Other important reasons cited by the mega-wealthy included strong educational resources, social stability, luxury housing availability and personal safety.
