The opening ceremony of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 started a few minutes ago and it has already created a buzz among tweeple. Reason? Arijit Singh kickstarted the event by singing the amazing song Kesariya in his soulful voice. And now, people can’t keep calm as they are taking to Twitter to showcase their reactions. Many are sharing their posts using the hashtag #IPL2023OpeningCeremony - so much so that it is now trending on Twitter.

Here are some posts shared by people where they expressed how they felt about the singer starting the opening ceremony of the 16th chapter of Indian Premier League.

The official Twitter handle of IPL also shared a video showing Arijit Singh singing Kesariya.

After Kesariya, the singer also mesmerised the fans by singing Kabira from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

The first match of IPL 2023 is set to start at 7:30 pm at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The match will be played between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
