While addressing a trial, courtrooms are generally expected to have a limited number of people inside to hear the case proceedings. Not only that, but there is also a certain etiquette that one must follow in the court. However, recently, South Africa's Brakpan courtroom was left in a frenzy by an unexpected guest during a murder trial. Any guesses who this guest could be? Well, it was an owl that flew in through a hole from the courtroom's ceiling.

Africa's Owl rescue center shared that they were asked to rescue a barn owl from the magistrates' court in Brakpan while a murder trial was going on. The owl had caused havoc and sent people out running.

"The Brakpan SPCA asked us if we could rescue a Barn owl at the magistrates' court in Brakpan that has been causing havoc.

Last week while the court was in session, the owl actually flew in through a hole in the ceiling which had the magistrate and the entire room full of people running out screaming. It took us a while, but we rescued the little fella," wrote the Owl rescue center in a Facebook post. They also shared a picture of the rescued owl.
