The viral video of a woman placing an egg in the middle of a pan while making popcorn was posted on Twitter.
There are certain cooking videos online that leave people asking ‘But, why’? This video of a woman making caramel popcorn may make you ask the same question. The video shows her making popcorn using an egg but not in the way you would imagine.
The video opens to show a woman placing an egg in a pan, she then adds two huge portions of butter and starts melting them. As the video progresses, she is seen adding candies and melting them. Eventually, she adds the kernels and covers the pan to cook the popcorn. Towards the end of the video, she also tries the dish and says how wonderful it tastes. However, amid all these there is one thing that left people confused - it is the purpose of using the egg that she simply removes later.
