Vikas Gupta taught the housemates a thing or two about being OK with others’ sexuality.

We never expected, just two days in, that Bigg Boss’s 11th season will give people a few lessons on how not to be a bigot. After the stormy first day in the house, yet another heated argument broke out between Vikas Gupta and Akaash Anil Dadlani.

Early in the episode, Shilpa Shinde, Vikas’ arch enemy in the house was heard discussing his ‘effeminate’ body language with Zubair Khan, making fun of the way he moves his hands and all.

Later in the day, after the nomination process was done and over, Akaash rounded people up on the dining table and began giving unwarranted feedback on what he thought about each of them. He called Priyank cute but boring, Benafsha was branded fake and he simply asked Vikas who he thought he was. While Vikas nodded his head then, he later gave Akaash a piece of his mind.

Vikas asked Aakash why it was so weird that he has embraced the feminine side of himself. Will being feminine is considered weak and looked down upon? Will he consider his mother or grandmother weak because they are women? He then schooled him that everyone on the show has worked hard in the lives and deserve to be here and that he has no authority to pass judgements on anyone. He seemed particularly bothered how Aakash is always in the mood to take off his clothes and show off his ‘ugly’ body and screaming even when his shallow voice cannot support it.

In the bedroom, later at night, Vikas tells Aakash that he will thank him one day for showing him the right path and asked him why he was so interested in his sexuality. The two finally make up and things begin to seem calm.

The contestants were also asked to submit two contestants’ names whom they want to see evicted from the show. But this time, they would had to stamp the faces of the persons they’re nominating.

But as we saw in the first episode, battle lines have already been drawn between some of the contestants - most notably Vikas and Shilpa, but new enemies were made during the nominations. Most of the contestants had very strong reasons to back their decisions. Vikas, as expected, voted for Shilpa, while Hina was upset by other contestants’ behaviour. Benafsha got into a heated argument with Jyoti, who was slapping people with the stamp pretty hard.

But Bigg Boss then unleashed a twist: The final nominations would only be made after the ‘padosis’ had had their say.

All in all, Hina and Shilpa were the most targeted contestants of the first round of nominations. Joining them were Bandgi Kalra, Zubair and Arshi Khan.

But things didn’t cool down after the nominations were announced. Now that every hidden feeling had been made clear in the open nominations, Jyoti and Benafsha got into a heated argument, with Benafsha loudly arguing that Jyoti should be thankful of being taught the right things in the house.

Meanwhile, in their separate room, the ‘padosis’ were seen discussing the day’s events. Mehjabi was seen talking about Jyoti’s behaviour, and how she was targeted by the other housemates. Along with Luv, she has announced herself as the biggest plotter in the padosi team.

Bigg Boss airs at 10:30 pm on weekdays Colors. Stay tuned for more updates.
