Bigg Boss 8: Mehek Chahal voted out in mid-week eviction

In a surprise eviction, actor Mehek Chahal was voted out of the ongoing reality show Bigg Boss Halla Bol on Thursday. Speaking after the coming out of the house, she said she would love to do shows on TV involving dance.

In a surprise eviction, actor Mehek Chahal was voted out of the ongoing reality show Bigg Boss Halla Bol on Thursday. Speaking after the coming out of the house, she said she would love to do shows on TV involving dance.

"I would love to do more shows on TV. There are a lot of dance reality shows being brought up. It would be great if I can get some dance-based show," Mahek said.

The 35-year-old, who was the runner-up of Bigg Boss 5, entered the extended version of Bigg Boss 8 as a challenger. She was nominated along with Dimpy, Karishma Tanna and Pritam Singh. "All three of them have been a part of the show since a long time and they share a huge fan following outside (the house). I was there for a few weeks only. My chance of getting the trophy was less. It would be fair if someone who has been there in the show since the beginning, wins it," she said.

Her journey in Bigg Boss Halla Bol lasted 18 days, during which she appeared as a calm person. However, things turned ugly when she ended up in a verbal fight with Dimpy, Ali Quli Mirza and Sambhavna Seth.

Talking about her fights, Mahek said, "I can't force people to think the way I do. Fights happen in every season. Every contestant inside the house wants to take a stand of his own. But while taking a stand, you shouldn't pass the line of tolerance."

Nevertheless, Mahek is happy with her journey on the show, and she hopes she's able to sustain her friendship with all contestants of the ongoing Colors show, hosted by Farah Khan.
