Happy Birthday Jennifer Winget: Actor gifts herself a car, recalls time with family

As TV actor Jennifer Wingest turns 32, she talks about her best memories of celebrating birthdays with her family, and her plans this year.

Jennifer Winget, who has worked in television shows such as Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Dill Mill Gayye and Saraswatichandra, is just as graceful as she was a few years back. On turning 32, Jennifer says “age is just a number” and she has never been scared of turning older.

Jennifer Winget will have a working birthday this year with her Beyhadh (TV show) family.

“Growing older takes remarkably little effort, you know. You wake up one morning and it just sort of happens! So there’s not much you can do about age, worse having to worry about it,” she says. “Being part of a huge family, my television family included, there’s always someone older than you who is living life by example. It’s no secret that growing up (not just growing old) can be fun and age shouldn’t ever have to matter if you’ve kept the zest to the pursuit of your dreams still intact. When you’re in the right place, with the right people and energy around, it a cruise that keeps you from going down that route,” adds Jennifer.

However, the actor does agree that birthdays are best enjoyed during childhood. Reminiscing about how her father always made the day fun for her, Jennifer says, “My best birthday memories are of my dad decorating my room before I would wake up and me wanting to change my birth date as it would fall during the summer holidays. I always wanted to spend it with school friends and this was almost never possible because of the holidays.”

That said, it’s not like her birthdays haven’t been memorable since she grew up. “Over the years I’ve always had the best times at some of the craziest parties with my family and closest friends. This year, however, it’s going to be a working birthday with my Beyhadh (TV show) family,” says Jennifer, who has bought herself quite a present this year. “I gifted myself a car,” she concludes with excitement.
