I’m their Diwali gift: Siddharth Bhardwaj
MTV VJ Siddharth Bhardwaj enters the Bigg Boss House today even as another woman exits tonight, increasing the male population to three.tv Updated: Oct 15, 2011 14:36 IST
MTV VJ Siddharth Bhardwaj is ready to enter the Bigg Boss House tonight. With his arrival, the male population inside increases to three. The female headcount at the same time will be down by three because tonight, either VJ Pooja Misra or activist-dancer Gulabo Sapera will be ousted on the basis of a vote count. “That’s sad, one woman less in the house for company,” says Siddharth, with a chuckle. “I’ve been watching the show. I’m thinking, if the gang of women loses one, they’ll get me as a ray of light inside the house. I’ll be their breath of fresh air.”
The 24-year-old is entering the show without a game plan. He insists his participation in Splitsvilla 2 on MTV has prepared him to take on any reality show. “In Splitsvilla, I was surrounded by boys and girls my age, who were ready to literally kill each other to win the show. If I could win that show, I think I can survive this with so many women and such few men,” he says.
When asked which of the men he’d get along with best, he replies, “Shakti Kapoor, without a doubt. He’ll be easy to get along with, unless there is a side of his personality that I am not too aware of. As for Amar Upadhyay, I am a bit uncertain.”
Siddharth also says he’s ready to cook, since he has done it for four years while living in Mumbai. “I had only Rs 10,000, and could only afford rent. I am better equipped than the women in that house to cook, and clean, so they should just enjoy me — their Diwali present.”
