Karan Johar likely to host Comedy Nights With Kapil
Although there is no clarity vis-à-vis the future of Kapil Sharma’s weekend comedy show after his slip disc injury, buzz is that four Bollywood celebs, including director Karan Johar, have been roped in to host the show while Kapil recovers.
Although there is no clarity vis-à-vis the future of Kapil Sharma’s weekend comedy show after his slip disc injury, buzz is that four Bollywood celebs, including director Karan Johar, have been roped in to host the show while Kapil recovers.
“The channel was contemplating if other characters should also be given a break while they work out a fresh concept. However, they decided to run, but rope in four big names as hosts. So far, only Karan has been finalised,” a source was quoted as saying.
The 34-year-old funnyman, whose show is one of the most favourite places for Bollywood stars to promote their upcoming films, will shoot the "last episode" with superstar Salman Khan before taking the break.
Kapil, came with this unique comedy show in 2013 and since then he has been continuously shooting for it without any break.
He also travelled to Dubai to shoot a special series for his comedy show and is scheduled to travel across the US and Canada for live shows in the end of this month.
