Advocate SG Abbas Kazmi, the former lawyer of the only surviving 26/11 Mumbai terror accused Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab, will be entering the Bigg Boss 4 House on October 3.

Apparently, the lawyer, who was sacked by special judge M L Tahaliyani last November, wished to clear up his public image and hence and approached the channel himself.

Sources from Colors channel and production house Endemol confirmed the news, saying the deal was locked on Wednesday. "He wants to go on national TV to explain that he is neither anti-Indian nor a liar," says a source from the channel on the condition of anonymity.

Kazmi refused to speak on the subject saying he was "contractually bound". He was sacked days after he submitted an unconditional apology for "lying". The court cited non co-operation on his part while removing him from the case, which was eventually passed on to his assistant, advocate K P Pawar.

Judge Tahaliyani had ordered Kazmi’s termination after he refused to consider the court’s suggestion to pick 71 formal witnesses out of 340, which included doctors who had treated the victims, conducted postmortems, drawn inquest ‘panch namas’, carried forensic evidences to laboratories and to family members who had claimed the bodies of the victims.

Kazmi insisted on trying all the witnesses and sidelined the court’s suggestion.
