A G20 guest magazine has termed ‘Bharat’ as the “official name” of the country amid the ‘India vs Bharat’ row. “Bharat is the official name of the country. It is mentioned in the Constitution as also in the discussions of 1946-48,” 2nd page of the G20 magazine read. This comes after ‘Bharat’ replaced ‘India’ in the nameplate of PM Modi at G20 Summit in Delhi.
