BJP’s Nadda Launches Fierce Attack On Congress; ‘Emergency Was Imposed Because Chair Was In Danger…’

BJP President and MP JP Nadda initiated the debate on the 75th year of the constitution in the Rajya Sabha on December 17. During the address, Nadda launched a scathing attack on Congress over the emergency rule imposed between 1975 and 1977. He challenged the grand old party to celebrate 50 years of emergency as anti-democracy day next year. Nadda also brought up Jammu and Kashmir's Article 370 and 35A during the debate. He said, "Nowadays there is a lot of discussion about democracy, but you (Congress) bring 35A in Article 370 through a presidential order, and you don't even debate it." Watch Nadda tearing into the Congress in this video.
