Britain defies Putin’s warning; UK to gift M270 MLRS to Ukraine against Russia

Just a day after Russian President Vladimir Putin once again warned the West against sending weapons to Ukraine amid Russia's invasion, the UK has decided to arm Ukraine with M270 multiple launch rocket systems. Britain will soon send the rocket launchers to Ukraine which can reach targets up to 80 kilometres. UK said that its move will help Ukraine defence itself better against Russia's invasion. Earlier, U.S. President Joe Biden had refused to send M270 MLRS to Ukraine, claiming that the weapons could reach into Russian territory and that it would not arm Ukraine with any such weapons.
