Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman posed with the Union Budget papers ahead of her Parliament speech. She conducted the customary photo-op outside the Finance Ministry premises along with her deputy, Anurag Thakur, and Chief Economic Advisor, Krishnamurthy Subramanian. Other bureaucrats of the Ministry were also present. Subsequently, the delegation proceeded to the Rashtrapati Bhavan for a meeting with the President. This is the second Budget for both Nirmala Sitharaman and the re-elected NDA government.
